How to get around Lisbon
Purchase a bus pass. I recommend the 24 hour pass. It does not begin until the first time you use it, regardless of when you buy it. If you plan on taking the ferry you must purchase it at Cais do Sodre train station. You can reload your pass here as well. This pass costs about 10 euros.

The tram is another great way to get around. Tram 28 is the famous line that runs through the very narrow and hilly streets. One ride on Tram 28 is 3 euros and all other trams are 2 euros.

If you are traveling to other regions, FlixBus or the train are great methods of transportation. It is not necessary to rent a car if you don't want to. You can purchase train tickets here
