Seattle, Washington has been on my bucket list FOREVER. Or should I say ever since I started watching Grey's Anatomy in college. We had the opportunity to spend one night in Seattle before flying back home to Boston from a weeklong trip in Montana. We landed around 10am and the first stop was breakfast. We were both starving and wanted something that was quick but also something local.

Mr. West Cafe Bar - The perfect spot for a quick breakfast or sandwich for lunch. They have coffee, tea, kombucha on tap and even wine. You wait in line to order and then your food is brought to your table. The vibes inside are also amazing - a plant lovers haven.

Next, we went straight to Pike Place Market. This was one of the number one things I wanted to experience while in Seattle. The market has a fish stand, farm stand, the original Starbucks and so much more. We walked around for a bit and then stopped at Pike Place Chowder. There was a line but it moves very quickly.

We were in Seattle Saturday to Sunday so the Market was pretty crowded. There are only a few tables at Pike Place Chowder so walked down to Pier 62 where they have tables and chairs to sit at and enjoy the water view with the mountains in the back. We did not make it to Ellenos to try the Greek yogurt, but I was thrilled when they sold it at the airport when we were leaving Seattle. I got the Marionberry and it was AMAZING. I highly recommend stopping if you like Greek yogurt.

Pike Place is also home to the original Starbucks. We walked by but did not stop. The line was extremely long and it wasn't worth it to us. There are Starbucks located all over Seattle so you can always stop in one of those.

The other number one thing I wanted to experience while in Seattle was the Space Needle. The photo above shows what it looks like from the ground. When we visited in March the tickets cost $36.75 per person, but I imagine prices increase during peak times. The wait to go in the elevator to the top was pretty quick even though the line was long. Once you're at the top you can stay for as long as you want. There is a restaurant at the top but it requires a reservation. We tried to book one but weren't able to even a couple weeks in advance. They do have drinks available at a separate bar for purchase for anyone, no reservation needed. There is a store at the bottom of the Space Needle and you can purchase all the souvenirs you can imagine. While the tickets are a bit pricey, it is a very cool experience.
